How to use RB usage

Why can opportunity differ by position?

Fantasy roles are different. A quarterback’s primary opportunities are pass and rush attempts; a running back’s are carries and targets; receiver opportunity is best represented by targets.

Does a high usage rank guarantee fantasy points?

No. Usage describes recorded opportunity. Touchdowns, efficiency, scoring format, game script, and future matchup conditions can change fantasy production.
