Fantasy Gridiron Methodology
How Fantasy Gridiron prepares fantasy points, opportunity, usage shares, weekly trends, points allowed, and matchup context without inventing missing information.
Data and scoring
Prepared nflverse weekly player statistics are authoritative. PPR adds one point per reception, Half-PPR adds half a point, and Standard adds none. The preserved 2025 dataset remains unchanged.
Usage definitions
What does target share mean?
Player targets divided by the team’s official pass targets in the same completed game week.
How is snap percentage calculated?
Player offensive snaps divided by official team offensive snaps for that completed game week.
How are rolling views calculated?
Counting metrics use per-game averages over actual games played. Shares and rates use summed numerators divided by summed denominators, not an average of weekly percentages.
What do the colors mean?
Colors represent same-position percentiles under the site’s documented six-tier thresholds. They do not represent projections.
Limitations
A team-position matchup or points-allowed value does not allocate production to an individual player. Missing, bye, future, played-zero, and no-score states remain distinct. No injury or participation reason is inferred.
